Recommissioning (RCx)
At Neelands, we provide RCx strategies for existing building’s energy optimization as an eco-friendly service option.
Our RCx process identifies and implements operational and maintenance improvements, to ensure continued efficiency and performance over time.
Depending on the age of the building, RCx can often resolve problems that occur during design and construction, or address problems that have developed over the course of the building’s lifetime.
Our team will undertake a systematic process of investigating, testing, analyzing, adjusting, and correcting building systems to meet current requirements. Neelands finds ways to improve comfort and environmental quality, optimize energy, and increase resource conservation, for energy savings in the range of 5% to 30%.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Precautions
As an essential service, Neelands continues to operate a full capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic, albeit with some operational changes. Here is what we are doing to keep our customers and our team safe:
- All our technicians have access to PPE (personal protection equipment), including masks, gloves,
wipes, hand sanitizer and are instructed to use it when appropriate. - All team members have been advised to wear masks and gloves, as well as practice social
distancing wherever possible, on all offsite jobs and service calls. - Where possible, our service administrative staff are working from home to limit unnecessary
office contact.
In the event of a reported COVID-19 case at one of our client’s facilities, where our technicians have been on site, Neelands will ensure that those individuals isolate and that all future technicians are on site for emergencies only (until the location is sanitized and/or re-opens).
